As I said in my last post, I have always LOVED the amazing "doodling" talent of Stephanie Ackerman!! Her "doodled quotes" just make me smile!! (Just a couple examples of her amazing work)...
So, as I practice, practice, practice for the "Doodling 101" on-line class I am taking from her, my admiration has turned to total "worship" and "envy!" This girl is Talented, with a capital "T!" I have discovered that doodling is not for sissies!! :0) It's hard!!! (At least for me!!) But, I'm determined to "try" to master this new talent, so I will keep practicing. Here is a little sample of my first attempts from my practice session yesterday.

Oh my goodness!!! I think I am the one with some practicing to do. Love your letters!!! They are beautiful. What kind of markers did you use?

GREAT JOB!! After so many years of trying to show off my best penmanship, I often find it hard to "color outside the lines" or letter in a creative style. I am far more suited to drafting and have to work so very hard at not being critical when trying to be crative. Can't wait to see what else you learn & do.
Good work. I'm in the class too, but I don't even have a black pen yet ... I'm a blue ink kinda girl. I'm going to hit the store soon. So far I've just doodled a little in my lined notebook. My handwriting/font is not nearly as cool as hers or yours :) I'm excited to be on this journey though.
