I finally got to do a little scrapbooking last week, and it was SO much fun!!! I had been laying off the scrapbooking because my pinched nerve + my "scrapbooking chair"= PAIN!! :0) But, with the miracle of drugs and doctors I'm much better now!

The PERFECT solution...
Problem: little pine cones, all over the ground, on one side of our driveway---thanks to the gigantic pine trees in our neighbor's lawn!
Solution: a granddaughter who wants to earn $$$ to buy a new Lego Star Wars ship!!!
"K" was in it for the money, (she had a definite goal and was "driven"), and "R" was just having a good time...picking up a few pine cones here and there, and enjoying the beautiful day we were having!!! End result...the pine cones are all picked up and "K" is a little closer to her goal! Oh, yea, and "R" had a great time!!!
**The picture is "posed" (honest)...I told them to hang their tongues out and look REALLY tired! :0)

OH, Happy Day.....
I'm pretty sure you have to be married to (or like to spend significant time with) a CPA to LOVE April 15th, and I do LOVE April 15th!!! It means I get to see my husband again---really---and, I can actually talk to him on the phone when I call his office...without an appointment!!
...tulips and daffodils will be blooming in our yard VERY soon!! It's starting to feel like "spring!" O, Happy Day!!
Another thing making me happy today...

Happy Keester....
I LEARNED FROM THE EASTER BUNNY
Don't put all of your eggs in one basket.
Walk softly and carry a big carrot.
Everyone needs a friend who is all ears.
There's no such thing as too much candy.
All work and no play can make you a basket case.
A cute little tail attracts a lot of attention.
Everyone is entitled to a bad hare day.
Let happy thoughts multiply like rabbits.
Some body parts should be floppy.
Keep your paws off other people's jellybeans.
Good things come in small sugarcoated packages.
The grass is always greener in someone else's basket.
An Easter bonnet can tame even the wildest hare.
To show your true colors you have to come out of your shell.
The best things in life are still sweet and gooey.
I know this has been going around e-mails for a few years, but like my friend (Ellen) said that sent it to me, "It's just too good not to share!" I just wish chubby buns were cute at ALL ages!! :0)

ONE MORE...
One of the favorite "holidays" at our house is "MARCH MADNESS!" This year Jim was offered the chance to get tickets and since the Final Four was in Detroit he couldn't pass up the opportunity to go! (With grandchild #5 living just a short hour drive from Detroit, it was the perfect opportunity to visit him...and his Mommy and Daddy, and get to see some great basketball with Jon!)
An added bonus was that the Michigan State Spartans made it into the Final Four. And, last night, they "knocked off" U Conn (many said it couldn't be done), so Jim and Jon get to proudly wear their State shirts on Monday night to the final game!
Jim was able to attend another Final Four several years ago with Jeff, when Jeff's favorite team, UNLV, was playing. Father/Son time has always been something he loves, and throw in basketball and it's darn near perfect!! :0)
