"L" loves playing with his "mega blocks" and we made lots of towers...

A little walk through the neighborhood for Papa and "L"...
A trip to the neighborhood park...
A little "son-to-father" golf advice...
We had a beautiful day at J's course for our golf "outing"...
While we enjoyed a wonderful "fondue dinner" under the arbor in J & S's flower garden, "L" had his own private table complete with entertainment...
The last day of our trip was very "full" and "L" was ready for bed...
We had 10 incredible days filled with so many fun times, but the very best part was just being TOGETHER! Those of you that have children and grandchildren living far from you know how precious these "together" times are....we will treasure these memories until we can kiss those sweet baby cheeks again!!
I think we needed to have some goats in the lawn to keep it down while we were gone!! :0) This picture really doesn't do it justice---the grass is LONG!! Back soon with highlights from our trip east!!

I have got my work cut out for me this summer, but I am determined to learn to play golf!! I have "played around" with learning before, never with very much success. So, I decided this is the summer! Jim and I have made two trips to the driving range so far and played a few holes each time after practicing, and I'm not too discouraged....yet!! At this stage of the game, I'm just happy if I make contact with the ball...whiffing the ball is SO embarrassing (not to mention almost throwing your back out!!) And, so far--so good! My whole family loves golf, and I really want to do this! Next week, when we are in Michigan, I will get some "professional lessons" from our "golf pro" son! (BIG plus!!) :0) (See below!!)
Mama, thank you for who I am,
Mama, I hope this makes you smile.
Cause I know you believed in all of my dreams
Happy Mother's Day, Mom! I'm missing you so much today, but I can't say I miss you any more on Mother's Day because I miss you each and every day! I learned to be a mother from the BEST, you were an incredible role model, and for that I will always be grateful. I wish I could tell you, today, how much I love and miss you, but I think you know! I Love You, Mom...Happy Mother's Day!

I'm actually am feeling a little more inspired...maybe I just needed a break! :0)
