Every year I greet the "first day of summer" the same....SO happy that it's the longest day (I love LONG days where it stays light past 9:00); and kinda sad because it means that the days are going to get shorter as we lose minutes of daylight. It's silly because we will still have nice, long, LIGHT evenings, but it's just the thought that I know the days are getting shorter! (On the reverse end, I am always so happy on December 21st when I know the days are getting longer, even if it's still months until it's light past 5:30!!)
On my nightstand right now is a book that was a recommendation from a friend, and I'm loving it!!
I've been doing a little scrapbooking for
Paper Pals this week, too. It's always fun to play with new products, and this time I got to do baby boy layouts. It's hard to believe the "baby boy" in our family is going to be 3 years old in a couple weeks. I want him to sloooooooow down....he is growing up way too fast!!
