Last Saturday was a perfect fall day....SUNSHINE, BLUE SKIES, AND "A" PLAYING SOCCER!! What fun it was to go to his soccer game. Jim and I always loved going to our children's games, and being able to cheer for the next generation is even more fun!!
I'm feeling SAD tonight...this little guy (that I was holding in my arms just last night) is now 2,041.31 away! I miss him (and, of course his Mommy and Daddy, too) more than words can say!! We had 6 fantastically FUN days together!! The last time we were with him he was just beginning to talk....this time he was a little chatterbox---SO much fun!!!
I am home from Arizona after a terrific two weeks with Jean---lots of movies, shopping, fabulous food and FUN!!! I love my visits to her house!! And, now we are getting ready for this little guy, and his Mommy and Daddy, to arrive from Michigan in 2 days! They haven't been home in almost two years, so we are VERY excited!! :0) We have a full week planned, and I know it is going to go wayyyyyy to quickly!
Tricia, Jean and I had such a fun morning today! Jean taught a card class at Mad Scrappers and after class, Cheryl and Connie (two of Jean's friends, that also happened to be in the class), joined us for lunch at "The Green House" at Kierland Commons. We started out on the patio but then we got too hot....can you believe we were "TOO HOT?" But, we decided we better soak up the sun because we are going to be greeted by chilly temperatures when we arrive home tomorrow!!! :0)
The evenings here in Phoenix are B E A U T I F U L, and tonight we did one of my very favorite things---we walked around Desert Ridge Marketplace! It is so much fun to go there, listen to the live music, watch the children play in the fountain, and walk around under the stars and the palm trees while drinking a non-fat latte from Starbucks! Just a little bit of heaven!! :0) Some pictures from our evening...
If you aren't a scrapbooker, the name "BAZZILL" probably means nothing to you....but, for those of us that are scrapbookers, Bazzill is synonymous with perhaps the very best cardstock on the market...and some other fun scrapbooking "goodies" as well! So, imagine the fun morning that Jean and I had today when we went to Bazzill, in Chandler, AZ., to pick up her order and tour the gigantic warehouse/offices/creative center! It was great!!! Below are some pictures that I took to share with you (please excuse the "fuzzy" pictures, my camera mysteriously ended up on some crazy setting I wasn't meaning for it to be on!!:0) (The last picture is Jean with the lady from Bazzill that took us on the tour.)
