Farmer's Market Find!!

We just returned from the Farmer's Market, what a fabulous way to spend Saturday morning, and we found these beautiful flowers! It isn't quite Pike Place Market in Seattle, but it's definitely a close second!! :-)

"Celebrate" Birthday Coaster Mini-Album

Just 6 more days until I will be teaching this fun "Celebrate" birthday mini-album at the Moscow Paper Pals store...I hope you can join me!! It's made with cardboard coasters and lots of fun bright patterned papers, ribbons, quotes and more!! It's just $12, and will make the perfect gift for someone special!! Mary Jane's Farm

It is said that a picture is worth 1,000 words...so, I'm going to let the pictures do the "talking" today, except to say that we had a FABULOUS time at Mary Jane's Farm!! We picked strawberries, blueberries and raspberries, dug some potatoes and onions, picked pea pods and even got a few flowers! It is such a beautiful, tranquil setting, and makes for a great "escape" from the real world!! As you can see, I was able to get some fabulous pictures for scrapbooking!!

We had a great trip today to Mary Jane's Farm! I will have lots more pictures to share tomorrow, but just wanted to upload this picture of Mary Jane, herself, with the kids. We all had a wonderful morning!!

Fun in the Sun!

Jon and Landen enjoying the beach in Mexico this winter. Sarah's grandparents spend 1/2 of the year in Michigan, and escape from the cold and snow in the winter and spend 1/2 of the year in Los Barilles, Mexico (where Jon and Sarah were married.)
Los Barilles is a beautiful little town not far from Cabo San Lucas.
(Can you tell from my last 2 layouts that I couldn't live without my circle punches?!)

"Smoke gets in our eyes...."

That old song "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" could be us today...a brown/gray haze is filling the air--you can see from this picture that our beautiful view isn't so beautiful today. The dry conditions and high temperatures have sparked lots of wildfires in the northwest and we always get smoke when that happens.
I'm hoping this doesn't last long, I miss our beautiful, clear blue skies!

49 days!!

49 days, and counting, until we get to see Baby Landen---and we can't wait!!! It is so hard to have Jon, Sarah and Landen living so far away....but missing Landen's little "milestones" every day is the "hardest" without a doubt! Babies grow and change so fast, and we know we are missing so much! But, we will pack lots of playing, hugging, kissing, and cuddling into 10 days...we can't wait!!

SUN and FUN at the lake!

There was lots of SUN and FUN at the lake this weekend.

Kate loved playing in the sand on the beach!

Jim and Anders stayed cool (it was near 100!) with a paddle boat ride! It was so much fun fun to relax and get away for a couple days!

Jon's "other" job

This is a picture that Sarah took of Jon and his best friend, Ian, at the PGA Golf tournament in Bend, Oregon last week. (Ian and Jon were college roommates and went through the PGM program together and got their PGA cards at the same time.) Ian qualified for the tournament and asked Jon to be his caddy. They had such a great time and Ian made the cut (70 out of 350 made it) and then ended the tournament at 39th---a great accomplishment since there were some tour players in the field.
We had a wonderful week in Bend (what a great town!!) with Jon, Sarah and Landen!
