Something to think about...

A Reality,finally....

After planning, designing, re-designing and re-designing AGAIN, it's finally a reality!! They broke ground on our new house yesterday! We are SOOOO excited to see, what we have imagined on paper, become the "real" thing!

I LOVE daffodils...

...and tulips!! These bright and cheerful flowers remind me of SPRING, and I love spring!! Those of you that know me, know that I'm not a "fan" of winter, so when these beautiful flowers begin to bloom I know that we have nowhere to go but UP!! It's true, we will still have cool, rainy, windy days...but, summer can't be too far behind! I saw these at the store today and knew they belonged on our table. "Happy Spring!

Simple pleasures....

It's the LITTLE THINGS that make me happy on this first day of March:

*sunshine

*going to the movie

*Starbucks non-fat, decaf, iced latte

*a "good hair" day

*"quality" time with Jim during tax-season

*playing with my grandchildren

*sister-time (movies, shopping, lunch, chatting, etc.)

*good friends

*finishing my work-out at the gym

*a new season of "The Amazing Race"

*a clean car

*girlfriends

*a good book to read at bedtime

*tulips and daffodils

*the EXCITING news that my grandbaby-to-be is a precious baby boy!!!!

Having fun...

Spending some time in the sunny southwest visiting Jean and soaking up the sun!! This is our favorite place to go every morning, enjoy a latte and solve the problems of the world! :0)

"Princess-in-training"...

"K" (in the blue dress) had a wonderful time meeting all the Disney Princesses last week at Disneyland with some of her cousins.

Feeling creative...

I'm finding that this "little" condo takes just minutes to clean (yea!!) and that leaves lots more time for scrapbooking!! I had fun the past couple days with two new paper lines from "My Mind's Eye." The boy-themed papers are from the "Lil' Robots" group, and the girly papers are from the "Mary Mary, Sweetie Pie" group.

"K" and "L" make the perfect subjects for such cute papers---cute kids!! :0)

Good News...Bad News...

Getting these layouts posted to the Design Team blog has really been a "good news, bad news" adventure!!! The good news is that these "Hippity Hoppity" Easter papers are ADORABLE!!! These are "my" kind of papers and it was so much fun getting to create with them.

The bad news is that I got a brand new computer for Christmas (actually, that part is GOOD), but the Windows 7 operating system isn't compatible with my scanner or USB Wireless connector, so getting these scanned and posting them on-line has been impossible---thus, making me crazy!!! Finally, I have given up scanning for now (please excuse my off-kilter photos, thus making them look a little strange when I cropped them) and I just took pictures!!

But...forget my computer woes and just take a look at these Easter papers from We Are Memory Keepers---you are going to want some for yourself!!!
And, in my totally unbiased opinion, I think these two little guys in the layouts are pretty adorable too!! :0)

...it's been a CRAZY week!!!!



When you have a big house, you fill up every nook and cranny and it makes moving VERY stressful! Remind me not to ever do that again!!! :0)

We are enjoying our "little" temporary home and are so excited to get started building our new house! My project for today---find someplace to stash all the stuff we thought we couldn't live without for the next 6-9 months!!
