You thought I was going to say S N O W didn't you?? Well, we still have plenty, (actually, we have MORE than plenty), but I'm not looking outside today, I'm busy "S"crapbooking and having lots of fun!!! Here are my results:

....seriously, this has to S T O P!!! We are setting and breaking all snowfall records---clear back to the 1800's!! On a sunny day, like yesterday, it's just beautiful...bright blue skies with sparkling white snow (the kind of days that those of you that don't live in the snow (Jean) think are just glorious! It really romanticizes the idea of "snow!" But, then we have days like today---REALITY...blowing and drifting snow everywhere! All schools and roads within 100 miles are closed! (All those parents that thought their kids were going back to school today after the two week Christmas break---SURPRISE!! :0)

This is the view out our front door and the door to our deck...

You can barely see our "For Sale" sign...how will anyone know they can buy this place??!!And, Jeff came over for a few minutes this morning and got stuck... If it sounds like I'm whining...yep, I AM, it's only January 5th! :0(

Love, Hearts and Everything Valentines...

NO more focusing on the snow for me (even though we have more snow on the ground right now than I have ever seen here in my whole life---no kidding!!) I'm thinking "love, hearts and Valentines" while working on my sample for the Valentine Mini-Album class that I will be teaching at Paper Pals on January 25th, 1-3 PM. Here's a little sneak peek...And, now, I just have to give you a quick look at the ridiculous amount of snow that we have...

Some days, like today, it's hard to believe that this....

Actually has "THIS" hidden underneath all that white stuff!! Can you tell...I'm through with winter and sooooo ready for spring and summer?!

Now, that's a LOTTA SNOW...

I thought we had a lot of snow, but check out these pictures of "A" and "K" that their Mommy sent today!! Amazing amount of the white stuff literally right out their front door!!!

Our H E R O...

Speaking of "random acts of kindness"...a guy just came by with a blade on the front of his pick-up and plowed out the TONS of deep snow in our driveway!!! :0) I feel like jumping up and down!!!

It would have taken HOURS by hand (our snow blower is "still" in the repair shop!) :0(

He would only take $20....I think Jim would have paid him $100!!!

This second picture shows you how it's "piling up!" The snow is now higher than our front porch! On a very bright and cheerful note---yesterday was December 21st---the shortest day!! No where to go but UP from here!! :0)
I'm not sure, but I don't think "Global Warming" has hit here yet!!!

A special concert....

With the "mountains" of snow we have piling up outside, it was fun to "escape" yesterday afternoon for "K's" Christmas concert. In my opinion, there is nothing sweeter than little children's voices singing, they give it their "all!" Nana forgot her camera (my bad!), and "K's" Mommy remembered her camera (good news) but her battery was still at home in the charger (bad news), :0)...so, luckily our good friend Shawna had her camera and captured this precious moment when "K" was introducing their next song! (Thank you, Shawna!!)

Oh, my goodness....
